Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 21, 2026
The Short Version
CalcFactor is free to use. To keep it running, some pages include affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for or buy something, CalcFactor may earn a commission. It never costs you anything extra, and it never changes what our calculators tell you.
How Affiliate Links Work Here
- They're labeled. Every affiliate box on CalcFactor carries a short disclosure note right next to the link.
- They show up only where they're relevant. For example, an LLC formation service appears on our S-Corp calculators only when the numbers show a potential tax savings.
- Calculator results come first. Our math is the same whether or not a partner is mentioned on the page. No company can pay to change a result.
- We point to free options when they exist. If you can do something yourself for free, such as setting up an IRS payment plan, we say so before mentioning any paid service.
Who We Work With
We work with partners through affiliate networks, including Awin. Current partners include services for business formation, tax resolution and kids' investing accounts. This list will change over time. We only add partners that fit what our readers are already trying to do.
Your Privacy
Your calculator numbers never leave your browser and are never shared with any partner. When you click an affiliate link, the network may set a cookie so the referral is credited to CalcFactor. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Not Financial Advice
CalcFactor provides tools and general information for educational purposes. A mention of a product or service is not a guarantee or personal recommendation. Compare your options, read the terms, and talk to a qualified professional about your situation.
